The Prismalence light system saves energy through its highly efficient optics (see also Technology). Compared to conventional light systems like High Pressure Sodium (SON/NAV), Metal Halide (HPI/HQI), Mercury Vapor (HPL/HQL) and Halogen, the energy savings reach 50% to 80%.

Even in comparison with the most modern long life fluorescent tubes with a daylight-like spectrum, the Prismalence light system is more efficient.

Many of our customers have replaced conventional 400W High Bay luminaires one-on-one with Prismalence 150W luminaires in factory halls and warehouses. As norms have become more stringent over the last decades, the light level requirements have increased. Hence one wants more light than before. In that case our 179W luminaires are the best solution. When the energy cconsumption of the respective ballasts is included, the energy savings are still over 50%.

On harbour cranes and yards, often 1000W conventional luminaires can be replaced one-on-one by our 600W luminaires.

The energy savings subsequently lead to a lower output of CO₂, hence a smaller Carbon Footprint.
